Because it seems like Castlevania LoS is equally loved and hated.
But…
*sigh*
I am okay with LoS existing. It wasn’t my stylistic cup of tea, but I could dig that they wanted to attempt doing a “gritty” entry in the franchise. Sure! That is a fine thing to try. And it was fun.
BUT
I do not want more of them. >A> I really don’t. Simply because I worry that we’ll never get our vaguely tongue-in-cheek orchestral metal-laden hammy Castlevania back. LoS was a nice experiment, but it’s not the Castlevania I love. D: Seriously, you can even keep the LoS-style gameplay and everything, just give me back my Goofyvania. All the serious just made it less fun. D’:

I had this weird urge to explore the Cheza tag. Even though I sort of nitpicked Wolf’s Rain to death whenever I first watched it, Cheza remains as one of my favorite character designs. (I guess I kind of liked her as a character too. Normally I don’t like super innocent females, but eh, she wasn’t human anyway.)
Fairly simple and very alluring without being tasteless (even the boob window was tasteful!). It generally suits her character very well, and the red hood she gets later on just looked perfect. I’m surprised she doesn’t get drawn or cosplayed more often simply because of how much she stands out. D: I think it’s such a nice design~

As much as I know this would never happen, it is a lovely idea and I would get all of them. D: (Except XI, unless they decided to not have a monthly fee anymore.)

the.newtype.theory: The Wings of Honnêamise
thenewtypetheory:

Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honnêamise is a 1987 anime film directed by Hiroyuki Yamaga and animated by Gainax (Diebuster, Evangelion, Gurren Lagann).
I had an odd sense of nostalgia watching this tonight even though I had never seen this movie before. The designs and settings are…
Yes, Nausicaa. That’s about what the art direction reminded me of. In that regard, LOVED the art direction in this. D: Very unique-feeling anime film overall. Like Gainax meets Ghibli (very old Gainax, though, which is a bit of a different animal from modern Gainax).
Sad that the sequel never happened. I would’ve very much loved to have seen more stuff from this universe. D:

since I have a horrible tendency to overcolor/overshade things, this was an exercise in restraint. >A>;;
